zyber17:

You really should watch this brief overview of SOPA if you don’t understand it.

Yes, his voice sounds like that annoying guy who is cheating in XBOX life… but everything he says is completely 100% correct. The general public doesn’t understand exactly what is happening here, and this video lays it out clearly.

Welcome to China folks.

For some reasons, some of our “fans” complained about the nude girl on the Justice new single cover…. Facebook deleted the photo and sent me some warnings emails…
Let’s play a new game my friends, please oh please stop following us, let’s get less fans, we don’t need you here. It’s time to make a choice, if you don’t trust us, you should not waste your time with such a shitty label right ? To the other ones, those who are following us since day one, those discovering us now, let’s stay strong, ED REC is soon 9 years old, thanx to you.

Iconic snacks re-packaged by James Anderson

“The brief was to repackage an existing item, or create packaging for any client we chose. I chose to repackage iconic snacks. Most of today’s packaging for snacks can be misleading, trivial and manipulative. My proposal focuses on the architecture of the snacks and is directed to the consumer who doesn’t wish to participate in the current mainstream packaging trends.”

Xavier: One of the principals we have is that there is no weird place to hear our music: even if it’s a s*** movie it’s cool because it’s meant that for a music supervisor, your song complements this emotion or something a bit epic. For example, the best place for us to listen to our music is when there is a football game announcement. You think, “Wow - if this track is powerful enough to make someone think that it could fit with a football game, then it’s perfect.”
Gaspard: It’s blood-sweat-and-tears music.

It’s interesting seeing this perspective from artists. Copyright law and record companies make you jump through flaming knifed hoops to use artist’s music in indie films, but I genuinely think artists would enjoy for their songs to be used by, essentially, other artists.

carpates:

Have you ever had sex to one of your own records?
Xavier: Maybe accidentally, but never on purpose. I’m not a big fan of music while I’m having sex. I would think of Gaspard  - he’s very sexy - or the situation in the studio…
Gaspard: It would be so corny to bring a girl back home and say, “Hey! This is my stuff…” I would just be thinking, “I should have adjusted that hi-hat a bit more…”
